The NorthBeast Regional Slam UPDATE!!

The 2009 NorthBeast Invitational went off without a hitch. We'd all like to thank the poets and audience for showing their support. The very first Port Youth Spoken Word event gave our audience a glimpse of what's to come. Be on the lookout for our bi-monthly Youth Spoken Word event held at the Meg Perry Center. The readings kickoff on April, 10th at 7:00pm.

Three teams duked it out for the top spot. In the end Manchester took first place with a stunning upset that put our home team in dead last. Better luck next year guys.
Despite the upset everyone had a great time and we're looking for an even bigger event next year.

Once again we'd like to thank Sarah Cecil from Maine Reads, Donna Galluzo from the Salt Institute, Luke & Chaz from Highball Jazz Trio, Frank and his crew from Personal Touch Catering for their support. See you next year!!!

So once again we're updating our website. Please bare with us while we try and get ourselves organized. Make sure to keep checking back as we'll be adding new content every week. This is your home to find out more about Port Veritas. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us via our contact page. During this process we'll need all the feedback we can get. We'd also love to have some guidance from people who know a little more about web development than we do. We're poets after all. Not Web Masters.

Thanks for your support!
