I had to ask myself. What the hell do we need a blog for. We have a Myspace page. We have a website. We send out the newsletter...and most importanly nobody ever reads that crap anyway. Well I guess here is what I've come up with....I'm bored. But that's not it. We also needed a place where people could share information that isn't seen, read and muddled up by millions of freaks, geeks and weirdos. Am I talking about Myspace?? Of course I am. So here is what I propose. If you want to post...if you have something to say or comment on and it has nothing to do with how to win your fortune by forwarding an email about how much you love puppies....here's your new fucking home.

Who says no one reads the blog? I want to go on record that the Port Veritas slam has gotten amazing! The Slam event two Tuesdays ago was the best I've ever seen in Portland.
Audience? Give 'em a 9.
The judges? Another 9.
The venue? How about 9.5! Food, drinks, sound, lights, and seating all excellent.
And the poets? Give 'em 10's. Congratulations Nathan (and all the PV staff).
Jeez, first substantial post and already you're complaining that no one cares. You are clearly well-prepared for the world of blogging, Mister (I assume) Amadon. ;)
Anyway, I'LL read it even if no one else does, and just to be a total nerd, I created a Livejournal feed for it here. So there.
